MIGRATION ACT 1958 - SECT 473JD
Acting Senior ReviewerThe President may appoint a person to act as the Senior Reviewer:
(a) during a vacancy in the office of Senior Reviewer, whether or not an appointment has previously been made to that office; or
(b) during any period, or during all periods, when the Senior
Reviewer is absent from duty or from Australia or is, for any other reason,
unable to perform the duties of the office of Senior Reviewer.
