LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENTS (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS AND CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS) ACT 2003 - SECT 5
Transitional regulations
- (1)
- The Governor-General may make regulations prescribing matters of a
transitional nature (including prescribing any saving or application
provisions) arising out of the amendments made by Schedule 1 to this Act.
- (2)
- Despite subsection 12(2) of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003 ,
regulations made under this section within one year after commencement of this
section may take effect on a day earlier than the day on which they are
registered under that Act, but not earlier than the commencement of this
section.
