Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) If:
(a) a company gives APRA a written request that its registration under this Act be cancelled; and
(b) APRA is satisfied that:
(i) no policies issued by the company remain in force; and
(ii) the company is not subject to any outstanding policy liabilities;
APRA may cancel the registration of the company under this Act by giving the company written notice of cancellation.
(2) Cancellation under this section of the registration of a company takes effect when APRA gives the company written notice of cancellation.
