INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF PRISONERS ACT 1997 - SECT 24
Transfer request from outside Australia
The Attorney-General may consent to a request from a transfer country for the
transfer of a prisoner (other than a Tribunal prisoner) serving a sentence of
imprisonment in that country to Australia to complete serving the sentence on
terms agreed under this Act if the Attorney-General is satisfied that, were
the Attorney-General to give that consent, the transfer could be made in
compliance with section 10.
