INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF PRISONERS ACT 1997 - SECT 21
Issue of warrant for transfer from Australia
The Attorney-General may, subject to Part 2, issue a warrant, in the form
prescribed by the regulations, for the transfer of the prisoner from Australia
to a transfer country if the prisoner's or the prisoner's representative's
consent and appropriate Ministerial consent in writing to the transfer on the
terms proposed by the transfer country (or, if the transfer country has agreed
to variation of the terms, the terms as varied) have been given.
