INTELLIGENCE SERVICES ACT 2001 - SECT 12

Limits on agencies' activities

                   An agency must not undertake any activity unless the activity is:

                     (a)  necessary for the proper performance of its functions; or

                     (b)  authorised or required by or under another Act.
