INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1988 - SECT 45
Registration of organisations
- (1)
- An application for registration as an organisation that was made under
section 132 of the previous Act before 28 April 1988, but had not
been finally dealt with before the commencement, shall, after the
commencement, be dealt with by the new Commission under that section as if
that Act had not been repealed.
- (2)
- Subsection (1) applies as if
references in the previous Act to the former Industrial Registrar were
references to a designated Presidential Member.
- (3)
- An application for
registration as an organisation that was made under section 132 of the
previous Act on or after 28 April 1988 and before the commencement shall,
after the commencement, be dealt with by a designated Presidential Member
under Division 1 of Part IX of the Industrial Relations Act as if it
were an application made under the Industrial Relations Act.
