INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1988 - SECT 19
Provisions of previous Act imposing obligations for specified periods etc.
Where:
- (a)
- under a provision of the previous Act, an obligation was imposed
on a person or body to do an act or thing for a specified period or within a
specified period; and
- (b)
- immediately before the commencement, that period
had not expired;
the provision continues to operate in relation to the
obligation as if the previous Act had not been repealed, but a contravention
of the provision committed after the commencement shall be taken to be an
offence against the Industrial Relations Act.
