Request may relate to assistance sought by defence To avoid doubt, if the ICC makes a request to assist a defendant
in the preparation of his or her defence, the request must be dealt with in
the same way as a request for assistance of a similar type made by the ICC to
assist the Prosecutor would be dealt with.
