HEALTH AND OTHER SERVICES (COMPENSATION) ACT 1995 - SECT 41

Delegation

             (1)  The Medicare Australia CEO may delegate any of his or her powers under this Act to:

                     (a)  an employee of Medicare Australia; or

                     (b)  a person occupying, or performing the duties of, an office in the Department.

             (2)  The power of delegation under subsection (1) does not affect any power of delegation that the Medicare Australia CEO has under the Medicare Australia Act 1973 .

             (3)  The Secretary may delegate any of the Secretary’s powers under this Act to:

                     (a)  a person occupying, or performing the duties of, an office in the Department; or

                     (b)  the Medicare Australia CEO; or

                     (c)  an employee of Medicare Australia.
