GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK ACT 1975 - SECT 9

             (1)  The Authority:

                     (a)  is a body corporate with perpetual succession;

                     (b)  shall have a common seal; and

                     (c)  may sue and be sued in its corporate name.

             (2)  All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial notice of the common seal of the Authority affixed to a document and shall presume that it was duly affixed.
