Commonwealth Consolidated ActsWhere, under a zoning plan, a zone may not be used or entered for a particular purpose except after notification to:
(a) the responsible agency within the meaning of the plan; or
(b) the Authority;
a person must not intentionally or negligently use or enter the zone for that purpose unless the person has notified the Authority that the person proposes to use or enter the zone for that purpose.
Penalty: 200 penalty units.
Note: If a body corporate is convicted of an offence, subsection 4B(3) of the Crimes Act 1914 allows a court to impose a fine of an amount that is not greater than 5 times the maximum fine that could be imposed by a court on an individual convicted of the same offence.
