FAIR WORK ACT 2009 - SECT 660
Appointment of the General Manager(1) The General Manager is to be appointed by the Governor - General by written instrument on the nomination of the President.
(2) The General Manager holds office on a full - time basis.
(3) The General Manager holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 5 years.
Note: The General Manager is eligible for reappointment (see subsection
33(4A) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 ) .
