FINANCIAL TRANSACTION REPORTS ACT 1988 - SECT 17
Protection for cash dealer etc. where information communicated under section 16 Where a cash dealer, or a person who is an officer, employee or
agent of a cash dealer, communicates or gives information under section
16, the cash dealer or person shall be taken, for the purposes of Division
400 of the Criminal Code , not to have been in possession of that
information at any time.
