FISHERIES MANAGEMENT ACT 1991 - SECT 139
Presiding Member(1) The Minister is to appoint a person to be the Presiding Member of Australian Fisheries Management Authority Selection Committees.
(2) The Presiding Member is to be appointed on a part - time basis.
(3) Subject to this Division, the Presiding Member holds office
for such period, not exceeding 3 years, as is specified in the instrument of
appointment, but is eligible to be re - appointed once in accordance with this
Act.
