FOREIGN EVIDENCE ACT 1994 - SECT 31

             (1)  The testimony may be reduced to writing or be recorded on an audio or video tape.

             (2)  The testimony need not:

                     (a)  be in the form of an affidavit; or

                     (b)  constitute a transcript of a proceeding in a foreign court.
