EDUCATION SERVICES FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS ACT 2000 - SECT 173
Debts due to the Commonwealth(1) The following are recoverable as debts due to the Commonwealth by action in a court of competent jurisdiction:
(a) CRICOS annual registration charge;
(aa) schools initial registration charge;
(ab) schools renewal registration charge;
(b) late payment penalty;
(c) TPS levy (other than a provider's first TPS levy).
(2) In the case of an amount that relates to the OSTF, the TPS
Director may recover the debt on behalf of the Commonwealth.
