ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 - SECT 292
Adoption of State plans(1) The Minister must not adopt a plan as a wildlife conservation plan under subsection 285(3) unless:
(a) the Minister is satisfied that an appropriate level of consultation has been undertaken in making the plan; and
(b) the plan meets the requirements of section 287.
(2) Before adopting a plan, the Minister must obtain and
consider advice from the Scientific Committee on the content of the plan.
