EVIDENCE AND PROCEDURE (NEW ZEALAND) ACT 1994 - SECT 8

             (1)  Subject to the regulations and any applicable Rules of Court, the subpoena may be served in New Zealand if leave is given under section 9.

             (2)  The subpoena may require the person named to attend to give evidence or produce documents at a place in Australia or a place in New Zealand.
