EXTRADITION ACT 1988 - SECT 53

The laws of a State or Territory with respect to:

(a)

the conditions of imprisonment of persons imprisoned in that State or Territory to await trial for offences against the law of that State or Territory;

(b)

the treatment of such persons during imprisonment; and

(c)

the transfer of such persons from prison to prison;

apply, so far as they are capable of application, in relation to persons who have been committed to prison in that State or Territory under this Act.
