EXTRADITION ACT 1988 - SECT 52

A certificate by the Attorney-General stating that:

(a)

Australia or another specified country is a party to a specified treaty;

(b)

the treaty entered into force for Australia or that other country, as the case may be, on a specified date; and

(c)

as at the date of the certificate, the treaty remains in force for Australia or that other country;

is, for the purposes of any proceedings under this Act, prima facie evidence of the facts stated in the certificate.
