EXTRADITION ACT 1988 - SECT 37
Surrender warrants after temporary surrender
Where:
- (a)
- a person is surrendered to New Zealand under a
temporary surrender warrant;
- (b)
- the person is returned to Australia in
pursuance of undertakings referred to in subparagraph 36(1)(e)(ii); and
- (c)
- New Zealand still seeks the surrender of the person;
the Attorney-General
may, in his or her discretion, issue a warrant for the surrender of the person
to New Zealand under this section.
