EXTRADITION ACT 1988 - SECT 27
Delivery of property to extradition country
Where:
- (a)
- property or a thing is seized under section 13 or 14; and
- (b)
- the property or thing:
- (i)
- may be material as evidence in proving any
offence referred to in subparagraph 13(1)(b)(i) or paragraph 14(1)(a), as the
case requires, in relation to a person whose surrender is sought by an
extradition country; or
- (ii)
- has been acquired as a result of such an
offence;
the Attorney-General may, whether or not a surrender warrant or a
temporary surrender warrant is issued in respect of the person, direct, by
notice in writing, that the property or thing be sent to the
extradition country.
