Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsA person who contravenes, or fails to comply with, a provision of the regulations or of an order made under the regulations is guilty of an offence against this Act punishable upon conviction by:
(a) a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, or both, and in addition, if the offence is a continuing offence, by a fine not exceeding $200 for each day during which the offence continues; or
(b) such lesser penalty as is prescribed.
