DIPLOMATIC PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES ACT 1967 - SECT 11
Privileges and immunities of certain members of the staff of a mission and of private servants of members of a missionIn respect of acts performed in the course of their duties:
(a) members of the administrative and technical staff, and members of the service staff, of the mission of an overseas country who are Australian citizens or are ordinarily resident in Australia or in an external Territory; and
(b) private servants of members of such a mission;
are entitled to the immunity from jurisdiction, and inviolability, to which
persons referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 38 of the Convention as
having the force of law by virtue of this Act are entitled.
