Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A defence member who takes part in a mutiny is guilty of an offence.
Maximum punishment: Imprisonment for 10 years.
(2) A defence member is guilty of an offence if:
(a) the member takes part in a mutiny; and
(b) the mutiny's object, or one of its objects, is the refusal or avoidance of duty or service in connection with operations against the enemy or the impeding of the performance of such a duty or service.
Maximum punishment: Imprisonment for life.
