DEFENCE ACT 1903 - SECT 26
Volunteer service by Reserves(1) A member of the Reserves may volunteer to render the following for a period or periods specified by the member:
(a) continuous full time service;
(b) service other than continuous full time service.
(2) The Chief of the Defence Force may accept some or all of the service.
(3) The member is bound to render the service accepted by the
Chief of the Defence Force.
