Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to this Act, the person appointed as the Director holds office for such period, not exceeding 7 years, as is specified in the instrument of the person’s appointment, but is eligible for re‑appointment.
(4) The Director may resign from office by writing signed by the Director and addressed to the Governor‑General.
