CRIMES (INTERNATIONALLY PROTECTED PERSONS) ACT 1976 - SECT 10
Liability to prosecution
A person is not liable to be charged for an offence against this Act unless:
- (a)
- the offence is committed in Australia or on an Australian ship or
Australian aircraft; or
- (b)
- the offence is committed after the Convention
enters into force for Australia and the person is found in Australia or
Australia is required by article 3 of the Convention to establish its
jurisdiction over the offence.
