Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to the next succeeding subsection, this Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
(2) This Act does not have effect with respect to Commonwealth places in a State until a date fixed by Proclamation from and including which it is so to have effect in that State.
