Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsFor the purposes of this Act, a person who at a material time was ordinarily resident in Australia or a foreign country but was temporarily absent from that country shall be treated as if he or she had been resident in Australia or that country, as the case may be, at that time.
