COMMONWEALTH ELECTORAL ACT 1918 - SECT 56A
Inclusion of Territories in Northern Territory Divisions Until the Electoral Commissioner, under subsection
48(2A), determines that a member of the House of Representatives be chosen in
the Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands or the Territory of Christmas Island
at a general election, any distribution or redistribution of the
Northern Territory into electoral divisions under this Act shall be such that
those territories are included in the same Division.
