COMMONWEALTH ELECTORAL ACT 1918 - SECT 388
Averments deemed to be proved In any prosecution in a court of summary jurisdiction in respect
of a contravention of the provisions of this Act or the regulations relating
to compulsory enrolment or compulsory voting, instituted by an officer or by
any person acting under the direction of an officer, the averments of the
prosecutor contained in the information or complaint shall be deemed to be
proved in the absence of evidence to the contrary.
