COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT 2010 - SECT 10.17
Exemptions from sections 45AF, 45AG, 45AJ, 45AK and 45(1) Sections 45AF, 45AJ and 45 do not apply in relation to the making of a contract or arrangement, or the arriving at an understanding, if:
(a) the contract, arrangement or understanding is a conference agreement; and
(b) the parties apply for its provisional registration under this Part within 30 days after the making of the contract or arrangement or arriving at the understanding.
(2) Sections 45AG, 45AK and 45 do not apply in relation
to conduct engaged in by a party to a registered conference agreement so far
as the conduct gives effect to a provision of the agreement in relation to an
outwards liner cargo shipping service or an
inwards liner cargo shipping service.
