CIVIL AVIATION ACT 1988 - SECT 5
Act to bind Crown(1) This Act binds the Crown in right of the Commonwealth, of each of the States, of the Australian Capital Territory and of the Northern Territory .
(2) Nothing in this Act renders the Crown liable to be prosecuted for an offence, but this subsection does not prevent the prosecution of:
(a) a member of the crew of an aircraft owned by the Crown; or
(b) any other person employed by the Crown.
