CRIMES (HOSTAGES) ACT 1989 - SECT 11
Venue where offence committed on aircraft Where, in the trial on indictment in a court of a State or
Territory of an offence against this Act committed on an aircraft in flight,
an act constituting in whole or in part the offence charged is proved, it
shall be presumed, unless the evidence shows the contrary, that that act did
not take place in another part of Australia, being a State.
