CRIMES (TORTURE) ACT 1988 - SECT 7

Only Australian citizens or persons present in Australia may be prosecuted

                   A person shall not be charged with an offence against this Act unless the person:

                     (a)  is an Australian citizen; or

                     (b)  is present in Australia.
