Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A copyright subsisting under this Part is not infringed by making a temporary copy of an audio‑visual item as part of the technical process of making or receiving a communication.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to the making of a temporary copy of an audio‑visual item as part of the technical process of making a communication if the making of the communication is an infringement of copyright.
