CUSTOMS ACT 1901 - SECT 225
Commencement of proceedings against officers Every proceeding against any officer shall except as mentioned
in the next section be commenced within 6 months after its cause shall have
arisen and not afterwards and the venue shall be local and the defendant may
plead the general issue and give any special matter in evidence.
