ANTARCTIC TREATY (ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION) ACT 1980 - SECT 12E

                   After considering the preliminary assessment, the Minister must:

                     (a)  determine whether the activity is likely to have:

                              (i)  more than a minor or transitory impact; or

                             (ii)  a minor or transitory impact; or

                            (iii)  no more than a negligible impact;

                            on the environment; and

                     (b)  inform the proponent of the activity in writing of his or her decision.
