Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Commonwealth Employees' Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 applies to an Australian member as if he were an employee within the meaning of that Act, and for that purpose an Australian member shall be deemed to have entered into a contract of service with the Commonwealth for the performance of his duties as a member.
(2) The Commonwealth Employees' Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 applies to employees of the Board as if they were employees within the meaning of that Act and as if references in that Act to the Commission or a relevant authority were references to the Board.
