A.C.T. SELF-GOVERNMENT (CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1988 - SECT 6
Transfer of rights and obligations of Commonwealth under contracts
- (1)
- The regulations may provide for:
- (a)
- the substitution of the Territory
for the Commonwealth as a party to any contract; and
- (b)
- matters connected
with any such substitution.
- (2)
- Subsection (1) applies only to a
contract:
- (a)
- which is subsisting immediately before Self-Government Day;
- (b)
- to which the Commonwealth is a party; and
- (c)
- which relates to a
Territory function.
