AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES AND INVESTMENTS COMMISSION ACT 2001 - SECT 70
Powers of Court where non - compliance with Part(1) This section applies where ASIC is satisfied that a person has, without reasonable excuse, failed to comply with a requirement made under this Part (other than Division 8).
(2) ASIC may by writing certify the failure to the Court.
(3) If ASIC does so, the Court may inquire into the case and may
order the person to comply with the requirement as specified in the order.
