AUSTRALIAN MARITIME SAFETY AUTHORITY ACT 1990 - SECT 30
Transfers of certain Commonwealth assets to Authority(1) Where, immediately before the commencement of this section:
(a) a function of the Authority was being performed by the Department; and
(b) an asset was held or used by the Department in connection with the performance of that function;
the Minister may, at any time, cause the asset to be transferred to the Authority.
(2) Subsection ( 1) does not prevent the Commonwealth
from transferring any asset to the Authority otherwise than under that
subsection.
