ACTS INTERPRETATION ACT 1901 - SECT 2
Application of Act(1) This Act applies to all Acts (including this Act).
Note: This Act also applies to legislative instruments, notifiable instruments and other instruments: see subsection 13(1) of the Legislation Act 2003 and subsection 46(1) of this Act.
(2) However, the application of this Act or a provision of this
Act to an Act or a provision of an Act is subject to a contrary intention.
