AUSTRALIAN FILM, TELEVISION AND RADIO SCHOOL ACT 1973 - SECT 9
Members elected by members of staff of School(1) Except as otherwise provided by this section, the member elected under paragraph 8(1)(b) holds office, subject to this Act, for a period of one year and the term of office of the member shall not commence before the expiration of the term of office of the member whose place the first - mentioned member fills.
(2) If the member has ceased to hold office before the expiration of his or her term of office, a member shall, if the Minister so directs, be elected under paragraph 8(1)(b) to hold office from the date of his or her election until the expiration of that term.
(3) A member elected under paragraph 8(1)(b) ceases to
hold office if he or she ceases to be a member of the staff of the School.
