AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE ACT 1979 - SECT 80
Powers and duties in relation to Commonwealth places Until an arrangement is made between the Commissioner and the
Commissioner of Police (however designated) of a State for the purposes of
subsection 8(2), members of the Australian Federal Police may, under
this Act, exercise and perform, in relation to a Commonwealth place in that
State within the meaning of the
Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Act 1970 , powers and duties
equivalent to the powers and duties that were, before the commencing date,
exercised and performed in relation to those places under the Commonwealth
Police Act 1957.
