AUSTRALIAN AIRLINES (CONVERSION TO PUBLIC COMPANY) ACT 1988 - SECT 46

                   In determining for the purposes of this Division what is the consideration in respect of a disposal of an asset to a person, the following shall be disregarded:

                     (a)  an interest or right, by way of security, subject to which the asset is acquired by the person;

                     (b)  the assumption by the person of a liability.
