ACIS ADMINISTRATION ACT 1999 - SECT 79

             (1)  The Secretary may, in writing, appoint:

                     (a)  an officer or employee of the Department; or

                     (b)  any other person;

to be an authorised officer for the purposes of this Part.

             (2)  In exercising powers or performing functions as an authorised officer, an authorised officer must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
