AUDITOR-GENERAL ACT 1997 - SECT 7
Auditor - General(1) There is to be an Auditor - General for the Commonwealth.
(2) Whenever a vacancy occurs in the office of Auditor -
General, an appointment must be made to the office as soon as practicable.
